The 30.4 m classic sailing yacht Reesle has been successfully re-launched after an extensive refit at the sister company of Vitters Shipyards. This elegant yacht, designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects, was originally built in 1995 by Engelaer Shipyard. After this refit at, Reesle is now ready for new adventures.
We gave the complete yacht a make-over. Key upgrades were an update of all systems, an interior upgrade and a full new metallic paint job. We have updated all systems to the latest standards, including a new monitoring system and two new Scania main engines. André Hoek of Hoek Design Naval Architects: “It makes me feel proud to see this yacht still so well used. Back in 1995, Reesle was one of the first super yachts; a big boat for that time. The original build Owner still owns the yacht after 24 years. This shows how timeless the design is. Claasen gave Reesle a great facelift preparing, her for the future.”
John Cardiff, captain and owners representative, was involved in the complete project from start to finish. He is very positive about the refit of Reesle. "It was a good experience to work with them. The communication lines are short and I enjoyed the informal atmosphere within the company."
