The Dutch yachting industry has always played a key role at the annual METSTRADE Show in the Amsterdam RAI convention centre and this year's event was no exception. From 14 to 16 November, 12 members of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group - an association of the leading Dutch yards and equipment suppliers with roots dating back to 1932 - showcased their latest innovations and products in the SuperYacht Pavilion.
The central hub of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group's activities at this 30th edition of METSTRADE was the Holland Bar at stand 11.509. Always a bustling place of business and networking, the bar is surrounded by the best equipment suppliers in Holland. With tasty treats and a central location, it is a great place to share thoughts with specialists from every area of the superyacht world.
In addition to being greeted with traditional Dutch hospitality, visitors could pick up the latest edition of the annual Think Yachts Think Holland magazine. This includes a wide range of fascinating articles which encapsulate why the members of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group have consolidated their strong position in terms of market share over the past year.
The reasons behind this ongoing Dutch success story was also very much apparent on the show floor. Surrounding the Holland Bar were the automation experts RH Marine, components and fitting manufacturer Rondal, Kuiper Dutch Marine Panels, systems integrator Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH), hydraulic engineering company Hydromar and PON Power, the oldest Caterpillar dealer in Europe.
Other HISWA Holland Yachting Group members - Naiad Dynamics, Cramm Yachting Systems, Huisfit (Royal Huisman), MarQuip, Esthec and Maxwell Marine - displayed their latest products and innovations elsewhere in the SuperYacht Pavilion while DMS Holland will be present in Hall 12.
