Dutch yards win seven Neptunes at ShowBoats Design Awards

The annual ShowBoats Design Awards, held this year in Kitzbühel, Austria, honour the creative talents behind the most innovative, elegant and inspiring new yacht designs from the boards of the world’s top studios.

In addition to the best sailing and motor yachts interior, exterior and naval architecture designs, there are prizes for the Young Designer of the Year (in association with Oceanco) and a special Lifetime Achievement Award. The latter was presented this year to Frits de Voogt, who has made an indelible impression on the yachting industry in his decades of designing Feadships.

The HISWA Holland Yachting Group is delighted with the number of prizes won by the Dutch superyacht sector. This achievement underlines the fact that the Netherlands leads the way in terms of the innovation, creativity and craftsmanship of its superyachts.

The Dutch award winners were:

    Exterior Design & Styling Award - Motor Yacht Below 500GT
  • Savannah by Feadship
    Exterior Design & Styling - Motor Yacht Above 500GT
    Interior Layout & Design Award - Motor Yacht Above 500GT
    Holistic Design Award - Motor Yacht
  • Madame Kate by Amels
    Naval Architecture Award - Displacement Motor Yacht Above 500GT
  • Topaz by HJB
    Naval architecture award Sailing Yacht
  • Frederik ‘Frits’ de Voogt – Lifetime Achievement Award
