Dutch superyacht electrical system integrator Alewijnse Marine Systems is introducing its new superyacht service and refit subsidiary in the Mediterranean superyacht hub of La Ciotat to the Monaco Yacht Show. Located within the Chantiers Naval shipyard, the new facility is fully equipped with tools and materials and is now Alewijnse’s base in the western Mediterranean for delivering both warranty services for existing superyacht customers and full repair and refit packages for all types of electrical systems, whatever their origins.
In addition to its full-service capability at La Ciotat, the team provides 24/7 onboard technical assistance for trouble-shooting and maintenance across an area stretching from Barcelona in the west to Genoa in the east. Support in the eastern Italian Riviera area is delivered by Alewijnse partner Amico Shipyards in Genoa.
Since last November the Alewijnse team at La Ciotat has been delivering rapid analysis and diagnosis of system issues, fast turnaround times and face-to-face coordination with partners in the yard. While a core team is permanently based at Chantiers Naval for routine assignments, it can access the full capabilities of the Alewijnse group for larger projects.
